Gerard Little's birthday is Monday, April 26. He would have been 55.

I grew up with Gerard in Hackensack, NJ. Gerard, Kevin Richardson and I spent those deeply formative years from 12-20 as our own clique and each others' biggest fans. We delivered newspapers, went to movies, worked at BK, danced at CYO's, chased girls (sometimes each others) and began the transformation from what we were born to what we were born to be. Gerard's mother, Juanita, was Frankie Lymon's sister. Gerard has four brothers - Lee, Michael, Duane and Chuck, who are just as much Frankie's nephew as Gerard. I hope they are all okay.

Thought of Gerard this week as the Guidettes on 'Jerseylicious' wore garbage dresses while painting their apartment.
