Zuni Mountain Sanctuary - High Mountain Desert Delights

Ahh, my Motherboarding Family!  Greetings from New Mexico!  I began a road trip in February, ended up here (my fourth year visiting), and have signed on to stay here through the next year with trips back and forth to NYC.  Zuni Mountain Sanctuary - the landscape, the Navajo and Zuni cultures, the animals, the creative outlets, the gardens, the deep connectionsand harmonizing with the elements, the Radical Faerie energy - all lend themselves to unlimited possibilities artistically, socially and environmentally.  In addition to serving as Secretary to the Board of Trustees for the upcoming year, I am also co-directing a play (Noises Off) at the local gallery, and working with the local food co-op to help streamline the needs for locals around food security.  The fabric of faerie culture and influence, as many know, is everywhere in pop culture these days, so I thought I'd share a bit of the seeds that are planting now at this 15-year-old oasis.  I am still deeply connected to my NYC family, and will be appearing with Anne Hanavan/Paul Korsinski's band, TRANSGENDERED JESUS, at Theatre 80 on St. Mark's Place on October 25.  I've uploaded a recent Autumnal Equinox edition of Zuni Mountain Sanctuary's newsletter, just to paint a picture of life among faeries in the high desert.  "The Notch" refers to the dip in the Zuni Mountains just to our north along the Continental Divide.  And, yes, we have presence on Facebook.
