Re: Remembering Terence Sellers aka Mistress Angel Stern

Delian ·
Terence left this Earth this past month, I am deeply saddened that she is now gone from it. When I met Terence she was a very serious, striking and commanding person so I was certainly intimidated, it was obvious I was dealing with an intellectual so I needed to be at my best behavior and my most attentive in her presence. She was an accomplished writer, a luminary in the New York underground, and a maestra of an art I'd only read about; she could make the most debauched intellectual blush...

Does anyone else remember an early Joey Arias Pyramid show called "Mr. Ginger Rogers Neighborhood"? I believe it was at Cafe Iguana (Whispers sunday night predecessor) circa 1982.

Night Nurse ·
So last night, I went to have my hair done for Wigstock. It turned out that my friend Creighton who does my hair was having a film documentary done about doing the wigs for this final festival (he also does Bunny's, Linda's, etc). So unlike our ususal hair sessions, this one was fueled by champagne. Somehow my glass kept getting filled, and well, I had had quite a bit while my wig was being fluffed, teased, etc. More to the point, I became lushy loose lips, and dished myself as well as...

It seems there are a lot of people out there who are into dressing up as dolls or anime characters. Then there are these lycra fetishists who like to wear Leigh Bowery-esque faceless outfits. Here is a designer in Russia who makes these amazing monochromatic creations. I predict this will be the new club look of 2002. Re: Straight To Hell (Sex Stories)

being back at my dad's house for the start of STH is just TOO perfect. AND the current news stories to boot... let's begin. when my dad remarried (the first time) i got a new stepmother and two stepbrothers. l****, the older of the two, was a year younger than me and lived at my dad's house with his mom. and it was his bedroom - the bottom bunk to be exact - that i would stay in on my "bi"-weekly visits to that house. (every other weekend, natch.) we were at a very curious age. and even...

You will gag Minerva but I was there when that picture was taken. It was at the Victoria's Secret fashion show. I was DJing. Before the show I went out into the lobby to call my wife. I looked next to me and at the very next phone was a 3 1/2 foot Gary Coleman in a blonde wig! I was trying to tell Chi Chi quietly, "You won't believe this..." Even better than the wig though were the shoes. They were these really ugly old lady pumps with about a 2 inch heel. The best thing was that they were...

BUTT WIPING...new topic Mommy? So I don't want you all to get the impression that's it's all this gritty street thing. I was just hanging there to experience the realness. Today I did the flashy mall thing. There is this big cluster of huge flashy malls full of affluent Thai teenagers. While there are a lot of American fashion chains, there are also some great Thai designer shops. There's lots of Japanese influence. The American fastfood places are all there in a cluster (KFC, Starbucks,...

Hey Gobs, I wore your "Glamour Goblins" T-shirt to an A-list fashion party, sweetie darling, hoping to have it featured like you requested. I was sitting next to Monica Lawinski, no photos were taken but maybe it will end up in Page Six or something. Alas no Hilton sisters though! But I bet you next year the Dolce & Gabanna show will be featuring rhinestone encrusted "Glamour Goblin" T-shirts

Actually M. Ra, as I was reading that book all I kept thinking about was how you would live for it! It gets sicker as it goes on but I won't spoil it for you. If Todd ever finishes "My face for the world to see" this should be his next film! I won't embarass anyone by name, but you should see some of the emails I get from certain Asian queens in NY. You sometimes forget that people with limited English will write the way they speak. It's very cute, it's always the "L" and "R" switch. But...

Wow. I went to Pattaya to see the drag shows. We went to two, "Alcazar" and "Tiffany". While they were both dazzling, Tiffany, which started in the 70's, blew Alcazar out of the water! While the photos on their website look great, they don't begin to translate all the glitter and texture of the costumes, nor the kinetic grandeur of the sets... but go take a look around anyway: Tiffany Website On the "show preview" page, give it time to load and it becomes a little roll-over-the-photo...

I'm sure you've all seen Stephen Sprouse's new Red White and Blue line at Target stores nationwide and online... http://www.target.com Some of it is quite cute but the website selections pale in comparison to what is actually in the stores (apparently, as per my "source"...let's just call her "Lulu"), anyway I got the women's shirt online and it's very cute, and the material is good quality. Needless to say these clothes are well on their way into becoming somewhat of a collectors item,...
