in case you haven't tried to give blood recently (or ever)... they will NOT accept your donation if you answer on the screening form that you are gay or have had homosexual sex in like the last twenty years. SO LIE!!!!! if you know you're healthy just tell 'em you're straight and give 'em yer juice.

You bring up some interesting points about transharassment by males. They are usually the most vocal and sometimes violent. And that's the irony!... Discrimination is usually spawned by fear. People who discriminate usually feel threatened in some kind of way and it can sometimes cause them to act out. In our case men think that we challenge their sexuality, if for only a second they think we're real or are attracted to us sexually. The reality is that if the're attracted to women and we...

arrgghhh have you any idea how much jizz i spilled over Adam Ant? LOL God that boy was beautiful. The last i heard of Toyah, she was very briefly collaborating with Girlschool in the 90's under a band named called Strange Girls. I have tons of gig pictures of Girlschool performing with Toyah on vocals around London if any Toyah fan wants em..

Yes, Daddy, please take my place! This is the out I've been waiting for! My therapist and my agent have been saying for a while now that Deb and Glammy are just dead weight, and I should drop 'em. Well, I'm taking their advice. Look out, Hollywood! Jackie Bigalow's going solo! (BTW, can I borrow a dollar?)

I have actually had the pleasure of working with Michael Moore as well as working in acquisitions for a very well known documentary Home Video co. So, i am doing my best to try to understand why someone who has a knoweledge of doc film making would be so fervently interested in thrashing a truth seeker such as Moore. The lies that stand are with the media and with Hollywood machines...the mass corporations... i cannot see how anyone with any intelligence can not see that.. Moore doesn't...

The thing about organic is that it costs more because the growers aren't able to produce it in the same volume as the big companies that do use pesitcides. But of course they use fertilizers, just not ones that have all kinds of chems in 'em to stimulate growth and so forth. True organic farming is no scam, but apparently there are a lof of producers out there billing their foodstuffs as organic while still using pesticides and chems and whatnot. There's apparently a grey legal line between...

Americans are so socially naive it is known as a national trait around the world. And how fucking tainted and emotionally lie-mongering are all those congresspersons claiming to be shocked. Total flim-flam. No one gets to be a congressperson without having experienced massive forms of human denigration, simply through atrocious business and political practices. Like they don't remember all the congresspeople of the recent past writing memoirs and exposes about fornicating with administrative...

I just saw the tail end of that Don Letts docu! will def be watching it again on the rerun. Don was always one of the nicest, most sensible and even-keeled guys in those days-- often in the midst of total mayhem. And yes the reggae cross-over those days-- all the punk clubs played it, every band that could attempt that backbeat had a reggae-inspired song (the Ramones couldn't, bless 'em). And we loved the political content. This was before the homophobia became in-your-face. When will we get...

daddy, you wanted glimpses of the inside of the tech room? I can give 'em . But be warned, it was usually pretty normal in there. Sometimes I'd walk in on one of the, uh, senior staff sniffing drugs. I'd walk in sometimes and the lighting/stage person (me: sound) would have two little piles of coke and direct me to sniff them. Much later we we talked about it and I realized this was meant to cut any motivation I might have to tattle. I did have sex in there once or twice. I guess overall it...

STOCKHOLM/OSLO: I am lumping these 2 days together because, well to be honest they sucked for me and why dwell. I wasn't happy with my sets and the crowd response was luke warm at best. The fact that the next stop is Copenhagen is the only thing keeping me off the ledge cause I've got a fierce crew there who are all coming to the show. I will say that for the band the audiences in Stockoslo were some of the best so far on the tour (yes, rubbing salt in my wounds, BAH!). But somehow I know...

Genius, right? I'm living and happy to start right then and there but the Fnacsters say to wait a little longer. A bout 20 more people plop down with some interest, including 2 kids who are super excited and obviously big fans of the band. Whatever, I'll take it. The woman interviewing me is a doll and the whole process takes less than 20 minutes with zero questions coming from the audience. But they clap when it's over. Very polite. Off to the hotel for some rest (finally!) before heading...

It was a very cute party! Pink Martini had a ball (and quite a few pink martinis). Julie Atlas Muz wow'd 'em with her talents as did Jessica Rabbit and Vangeline Domination. Hunter James and Pirate Steve gave gorgeous black tail & top hat go go. The Empress Chi Chi did a reading of her ode to New Orleans, "The Empress Of Royal Street" with Pink Martini trumpet player Gavin Bondy. She dedicated it to Helen Hill who was a close friend of many in the audience.
