She's so unusual. When photographing Amanda Lepore, I recall being consistently amazed at how lovely and accomodating she would be.
I guess I expected something different, an attitude I suppose. After all, her iconic image has been portrayed by some of the greats of our time. If I would see her out, nervously, I would approach her. When I did she'd always agree with a smile and if I presented an idea she would gracefully comply without question.
Amanda deserves much devotion. However, what's most impressive is her own level of devotion to what she does and who she is.
