MATTACHINE "Thank Julius' for Gay Bars. Literally."

This from PJ DeBoy:

This Thursday the July installment of MATTACHINE careens into Julius' promising you a sweltering mix of cheap, dew-laden cocktails, sweaty dancing on a meager, "no jumping or you'll scratch our records" dancefloor, and makeout sessions you're bound to remember fondly but hazily. And of course, Grade A U.S. Beef burgers on hand for you to devour.

Party starts at nine and lasts til the wee hours with me, John, and Amber on the steel wheels. Look forward to seeing you all. Here's Paul Dawson's latest flyer extraordinaire.

xoxoPJ

This is one of the hottest parties in New York right now.
The music alone will haunt you for the rest of your life.
It's heaven.
(Well, it's heaven if you think the playground pictured above is heaven. If not, than this will be hell for you. Either way don't miss out.)
This just in from the Shortbus.

Come to JULIUS' this THURSDAY FEBRUARY 18th for MATTACHINE's 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! We'll have special guests and hijinks all ready to go starting at 9ish. Bring a friend! Leave with a friend! Noone'e keeping score! Except that one guy.

Join me, Amber , and John and all the rest!

Smooch,

I don't know how many of you have been to Mattachine but it has consistently been one of the best parties in New York for the past year.
I haven't been to every single one but the ones (that I remember) have been monumental.

The music will astound.
(I hear that Jake Shears of Scissor Sister fame will DJ)

Get there early it does get packed.
And dress!!!!

Hi Gang, Happy Spring! Mattachine is this Thursday March 25th at Julius' start time 9pm! It's gonna be a nugget, I feel it in me bones...

This month's poster pays tribute to 1950's author Jay Little (photo courtesy of Ray Yoder). His interesting story is wonderfully researched and told in the following article by Brooks Peters, which will be featured in the June issue of Ganymede:
