I've had an ipod for almost a year now and have been able to record internet radio with software called "radio lover" then put it onto my ipod. All of a sudden just this week I cant do that anymore.Does anyone know if the new itunes4 has something in it to hamper my quest for free music? Is anyone using any other software for this purpose? If I cant record internet radio onto my ipod then my ipod is worthless..no to 99 cent songs and over rated cd's.
Dear Grumpy cheap shit, I mean... Cheery cherub.
Dub off from your CD collection all the tracks that you like onto your ipod then flog yer CDs on Half.com ...with the money you make you can buy 99c tracks or new CDs and recycle again!
I must say I was just on itunes and treated meself to a few Earth wind an fire tracks... now have 700 songs on my ipod all just classics from my collection.
NO LUV you have no idea what I used to have on my ipod no cd's put out by record labels could match the quality of music I was getting. Apple strong armed me into downloading itunes 4.They just stuck their fist through my computer and dragged me down with them. There has to be another way and I will find out.My days of buying bullshit at tower records is over.I digest music like carrot juice the 99cents a song addiction wont work. Thanks but give somone else a chance to answer questions on the board. weed
"Audio Hijack" is a program that works like a digital tape recorder. You can take sound off of any program and turn it into an mp3. It's geat for lifting music off of DVD movies or recording Internet radio. It may just be for Macs but I'm sure there are similar PC programs. I made the DVD of the Pearl Bailey/Carol Channing TV special into one spectacular audio track!
Also, I suggest we all get one of these new fangled "Gmail" accounts with 1 gigabyte of storage. We can use them to email eachother WHOLE ALBUMS for trading! Just take the folder of music, "zip" or "stuff" it, and send it to a friend!
