I know there have been some high-profile cases in the UK recently involving this issue, where parents have, in the opinion of some-- including myself-- subjected newborns (while draining the resources of the NHS) to needless pain and suffering to keep them alive.

Despite Ms. Aspis' comment, these are not simply babies who are born disabled, but babies born seriously and critically ill. And this is not about killing those unfortunates, but permitting them to die with dignity.

I say Bravo!
