Many many years ago, when i were a wee nipper, i went to one of my first gigs, Kraftwerk .... what an amazing gig it was too.... they were totally at the forefront of the whole 'electronic' movement in Europe and their stage shows were what i know now to be called "performance art" but back then still in High school just thought "wow! what an amazing mind fuck".... really a great 'robot' image that they had, there was no ego, they did very little press or interviews it was all about an image and music.. EMI just signed them again and the original members are back and releasing a new album... I'm sure its not the same but then again we are all so much more jaded and cynical now... but back then 1984 was just an Orwellian image.... but God! they were great!
