"You have to admit, “Pussy Faggot” is a catchy title for a party. It pairs male and female, straight and gay, and as an epithet it’s pleasantly jocular. It’s so extreme it’s funny. For some dumb reason I’ve never understood, faggots usually don’t like pussy, so combining the two is nice. Leave it to Dax to go out on a limb like that. His trademark is to think outside the box, bring people together and take some chances."
- Gerry Visco, New York Press

The dawn of 2010 sees the return of PUSSY FAGGOT!, a super-size evening of queer performance and culture presented by New York City’s downtown impresario EARL DAX and SCENEDOWNTOWN. Occupying all 3 floors of THE DELANCEY LOUNGE, the night is co-hosted by legendary performance artist PENNY ARCADE and fashion icon and actress SOPHIA LAMAR. The international mix of artists is headlined by notorious punk/cabaret goddess BAMBI LAKE!! After a 3-year hiatus (and over a decade since she’s appeared in NYC!) Bambi is back with KENNY MELLMAN on the keys.

The evening gets started at 8:00 pm as GLENN MARLA curates and hosts HEAVY, a performance salon he originated at Rapture Cafe to provide a home for NYC's cutting edge downtown performers to take risks and try out new work. Tipping his hat to the overall pussy faggotry of the night, Glenn presents an encore themed 'Heavy Petting' - A Touching Night of Performance by BEVIN BRANLANDINGHAM, PRINCESS TINY AND THE MEATS, SILAS HOWARD (Tribe 8) and DAMIEN LUXE.

From 9:00 to 10:00 pm on the first floor ARTFAGCITY hosts an open vodka bar with a screening of Whitney Biennial artist RYAN TRECARTIN's video P.opular S.ky.

Later in the evening enjoy performances by Chez Bushwick co-founder JEREMY WADE (now based in Berlin), ENID ELLEN, M. LAMAR, JO LAMPERT, WILL LARCHE, GIO BLACK PETER, STREET HERO, JORDAN FOX, NATHAN CARRERA, London-based TWOSPIRIT (originally from Tel Aviv) and Mexican singer and experimental composer of experimental music, JUAN SON (vocalist for the indie rock band Porter).

DJs LADY MISS KIER, DAWNE RIGHT NASTY (Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London) and MICHELE LE HYSTERIK and URUN (Queerhana Collective, Tel Aviv).

Light installation by NIKNAZ.

** On top of all that this a new international glossy magazine focused on queer culture called OUT THERE is sending a photographer to shoot the party for an article being published in the inaugural issue. **
