I just saw the tail end of that Don Letts docu! will def be watching it again on the rerun. Don was always one of the nicest, most sensible and even-keeled guys in those days-- often in the midst of total mayhem. And yes the reggae cross-over those days-- all the punk clubs played it, every band that could attempt that backbeat had a reggae-inspired song (the Ramones couldn't, bless 'em). What we know so far about the circumstances around his death. He was at Burning Man, which he looks forward to all year. He fell and hit his head, thought he was okay, then a few hours later went into a seizure and died. This is being looked into by the Reno police. I was just talking with Paula, the Swedish Housewife, about the logistics of that, a dead body at Burning Man. We agreed that Adam would want to go in The Burn at the climax.

Pete was at Jackie, no, Click and Drag one time I remember...it was his "International Chrysis" phase...meaning that was the name of the band (hmmm, wonder where he got that name from). I wonder what Chrysis would have thought? Something tells me she would have been somewhat amused. With regards to the pictures, love all the boys and girls in Westwood...and he's so crazy for wearing that traditional kimono! then again it might be Galliano.

The bizarre thing about the whole case is that it WAS entrapment. Craig tapped his foot for crying out loud, hardly an action that threatens society. Another victim-less crime for the police to waste taxpayer money on while real crimes are being perpetrated. To make matters worse, this supposed "sting" operation, featuring cute trade as bait, happened at an airport of all places, a setting where surely more serious security issues abound. It's been depressing to watch talk show hosts...

Some good news from The Official Site : -------------- April 2009 Steve has confirmed that he is officially back as manager for Pete / Dead Or Alive. He and Pete are working on new material with a view to releasing later this year, possibly a new single to preview a new album in the summer. There will be exciting collaborations with known artists, more news to follow very soon. They are actively seeking a new record deal.
