The inside dish: Joey Arias never returned from Las Vegas. She's actually holed away in an undisclosed rehab facility near Reno. The star of the show is a hyper-realistic puppet designed by mad producer Basil Twist to cover for Arias until she gets well. If you look closely you can spot the strings! The real giveaway is the waistline. No human being can corset like that!

Yes Daddy. I dropped five hours before the show. So I was peaking. Mr. Twist, thank you so much for getting me in to the theater's sweet spot. I think you are a powerful entity. Some passages of the show I have never experienced anything like before. Joey, you are a treasure.

Tonight's discussion, video clips and performances were a really unique experience. It was WONDERFUL to hear Basil give his inspirations and thoughts behind each of the pieces. And some great facts we hadn't heard. We had no idea that the band from "Arias with a Twist" was from Basil's father's collection... (Insert 3000 words here why we are still giddy about being in the same room as Jane Henson and Cheryl Henson) One of our favorite moments of the evening was when The Awaji Puppet Theater...

For the last three years, Dr. Sketchy's has been the ultimate in alternative life-drawing. The event combines cabaret and art school, and with branches from Paris to Tokyo, Dr. Sketchy's has become the largest chain of drawing classes in the world. Now, Sketchy's is joining forces with America's most notorious underground artists. At a Dr. Sketchy's class, artists draw glamorous, scantily constumed underground performers, compete in contests, and win booze and prizes. Sessions are hosted by...

Read the feature in the Voice this week where the story is an excuse for the writer's expense account party trip to London. The sisters have become the epitome of the 'underappreciated' on the US market, being a global brand name everywhere but the US oweing mostly to their party band status and the kitschy stage presence both of which are a tip off to American consumers of a marketing scam. I am plucked!!!!!! Basil Twist in a Dolly video. I am so jealous. It's not my favorite song but still, it's Dolly. Why are Christian Rock songs usually so bad? They are so heartfelt and strong but the melody, lyrics etc. just goes right out the window. White Christian Rock is the lamest music ever written. But hey, Dolly can do no wrong.
