Alright so where were we? Oh right, ex wife gone, Del arrives... Well, last Thursday my friend Del arrives from NYC and thus begins a weekend of booze, boys, and bailar-ing. Also in town was Mykl (aka Purple Pants), Riccardo, 5 of his Italian friends, Jaynie, her gf Helen so now that everyone has left I'd like to climb into a cave and sleep for 3 days. It was a fab weekend beginning with Thursday night going to this cute party called Boombox at the Apollo. It is sort of Barcelona's answer to...

We've been together for 19 years in June and have every penny of our life savings pooled together. There is NOTHING legally protecting either one of us from the other completely ruining each other financially. Now here comes the reality of the current economy. We're pretty sure Zazoo is getting laid off on Monday. (2 days from now.) So we're now scrambling to make sure we're going...

I finally have time to take my philosophical inspiration a notch up, and since I was going to be out of town for the channel 13 series, "The Power of Myth", I picked up "The Hero's Journey. Joseph Campbell On His Life And Work" at the local used bookstore. I am still reading, but I thought that one of the passages spoke very well to the current schisms existing in today's societal structure and world views. As follows, in answer to a question; "What the psychologist is finding out about the...

Re: Blackout!

Or alcoholism. I noticed a lot of "wine tasting" last night as I headed home to Manhattan on foot. Well, someone said, "Let there be light," here on Manhattan's Lower West Side, at approx 2:19PM. About time! A lot of the other neighborhoods are still without power though. I had been riding home in a car from Connecticut along the ever-blackedout Merritt Parkway and actually had no idea there was a black out at all. Until we rounded a bend, entered New York State and looked in the direction...
