Yup. Poor Heath. But I don't believe that any doctor would have prescribed that combo to one single person - it's overkill. Some people tend to get dyslexic with painkillers and anxiolytics (I was long one of them): "1 every 6 hours as needed" does not mean "6 every hour if the shit hits the fan". And if you have 2 or 3 doctors that don't know about each other... well, you'd likely end up with an overlap of different versions of each med, much like Ledger's combo indicates. Self-supervised...

Our old drag king friend Fudgie Frottage does Friday nights at The Transfer, Church and Market, it's called Dragstrip and very mixed. There's also a party called "Faggot" on the first Wednesday of the month at Daddy's on Castro. Don't know much about it though. Best thing to do is to get to Trannyshack and ask around. Or ask Fudgie at Dragstrip. They know everything. Tell 'em Hattie sent ya!

Ojo "Hot Eye" sounds divine, S'tan, and of course very Victorian-- bathing in those heavy metals... In fact, I love the desert... and the badlands. I have been to Santa Fe and Taos-- very briefly during the first "brown" explosion, but most of my desert visits have been to the Mojave and part of the Sonora. Perhaps someday I will make it to Fingernails. I hope your rescue rabbit has a lot of room in her hutch, as they tend to balloon without exercize! And watch out for those back...

Yes, Darla, I wondered for a moment if you were employed in the pharmaceutical industry! But, despite CW Post's theories, cornflakes are not medicine. You can take 'em or leave 'em. Not so with life-saving medicines. Is greed the best impetus for finding an AIDS vaccine? And forget about the ethics. I don't know, if the government and technology industry can fritter away zillions searching for a super-conductor with no return in sight... Seriously, I am not a big conspiracy theorist either.

New Yorkers are still my favorite thing about New York. I'm on jury duty at 111 Centre, which is a most quintessentially New York experience that thankfully only comes every 4-5 years. And looking around the room, all that intelligence and worry and frenetic deal-making. which doesn't stop FOR AN INSTANT, the Staten Island-sounding realtor bellowing all day into her cellphone in the hall - 4 MILLION, NO IM STUCK HERE ON JURY DUTY.. New Yorkers. Gotta love 'em.
