This is going to sound so very trite, but I think that having a dog makes me a better person. I certainly learned a thing or two about having to think about something (or someone) else's welfare. Hello Ann's Brother, Bill! Just the other day I was sitting in a parking lot in Fort Lauderdale and thinking of Ann and of writing a bit about her... Ann's involvement with the Pyramid predated my own, believe it or not. She was the regular host of Bobby Bradley's brainchild-- a Sunday night performance art event called "Cafe Iguana." Gracious, chatty, and personable, Ann's introductions often began in a rambling and disconnected manner, but somehow she managed, during the course of her...

Are you sure, she wrote a book? Unbelievable, I am her fan since more than 10 years and I´ve never heard about that book. I can´t find it anywhere too. I know her daughter, Maria Riva, wrote a book about her mother. I saw Maria Riva in a TV-interview a couple of month ago. But her words did not sound very flattering. She told, Marlene was a great actress, but not a good mother. Which is your favorite movie of Marlene? I love "Morocco", "Dishonored" and "Scarlett Empress" - I can´t...

It does all sound odd. I heard on the BBC that he has also been charged with falsely reporting a robbery. The news said the police responded to a call about a robbery at Boy's apartment and whilst there saw a small amount of cocaine out in the open and found more after searching. The reporter seemed to imply that it was not Boy who called abpout the robbery. All seems very odd.

A hopeful and lovely sound.. This is a dog-walking story too, in a way: I often take Casanova (the eskimo pup) on a late-night walk to my favorite place in all of Gotham, St. Mark's Church. He cant go inside the grounds but loves the place as much as his mom does, though he sometimes senses the ghostly activity and bays. A few nights ago I walked him there at 1 AM - it was very quiet on the streets. As we rounded the corner I heard the unmistakable lines of Alan Ginsberg's "Howl" "who...

Reggae (the deep dub stuff) was VERY influential back then. It was the first thing that brought the worlds of "Disco/Club" and "Punk/Rock" together. For example... Its the White Rabbit song though that will probably live on for another thousand years. It became like an official anthem of the 'San Francisco Sound' of the late 1960's early '70's. A famous tell all book of the times was called 'Go Ask Alice' - the supposedly true story of a young girl's decent into rabid drug use and eventual death with all the stock depradations on the way down. The flick was done with such an ambivalent tone though that it never rose to the status of being...
