Tom Murrin / The Alien Comic was our own Lipstick Traces from the Dadaists, a direct line from the Cabaret Voltaire to the stages of 8 BC, LaMama, Jackie 60, PS 122 and everywhere that really mattered in between. I am quite stunned by the sudden passing of my Blacklips confrere, Todd, AKA Lulu. She was a true original-- drop-dead gorgeous in drag, with an impeccable comedic timing which she really honed during her Blacklips tenure-- not to mention her wig-styling & makeup skills... I had always wondered why Linda refused to synch. Thank you, Vulgar, for setting the record straight. Perhaps she should have chosen another version of the song to do. Or something by Nancy. We met Walt on our second day of the shoot. He did this AMAZING pitch black "indian chief" look. He had a beautiful feather headdress that went halfway down his back. He painted up head to toe with black make-up (including his teeth) and had white and red warpaint bars. Actually I consider the Martyr Mantras album (which contains "Specialize in Lonliness" and other great songs) to be George's finest work to date. So prolific, emotionally giving and really featuring his voice in a unique way. And it's such a great record to hear in the background while snuggling in bed with someone special, the perfect pre- or post-coital soundtrack to have playing on your CD player in a darkened boudoir at 2 a.m.

I've had an ipod for almost a year now and have been able to record internet radio with software called "radio lover" then put it onto my ipod.All of a sudden just this week I cant do that anymore.Does anyone know if the new itunes4 has something in it to hamper my quest for free music? Is anyone using any other software for this purpose? If I cant record internet radio onto my ipod then my ipod is worthless..no to 99 cent songs and over rated cd's.
