Thank you for the video... I hope all of those psychopath cops eat "BK Ultimate Breakfast Platter" every morning and become sick very soon then they might get a clue of how corrupted our society is. Somehow, it is legal to sell a breakfast platter that contains 2,490mg of sodium though it is exceeding gov. suggested daily value of sodium. By selling such poisonous product at their over 7,000 stores in the U.S., BK's CEO has been receiving the total compensation of over $15 million. Darla,...

Legendary spoken word performer Emilio Cubeiro died on approx. June 15, 2001 in Craftbury Common, VT of complications due to Hepatitis C. A frequent contributor to one of the first gay poetry magazines, "Mouth Of The Dragon" throughout the early Seventies, Cubeiro's exceptional live performances combined poetry, rhythm and music years before anyone else. Reportedly, a young poet named Lydia Lunch saw him perform at CBGB's in 1972, and left completely transformed. It would be over 20 years...

Re: Miss Understood's Hi from Thailand
So the caves were shallow, no big deal. But then I went on this loooong walk up to a mountaintop shrine. It was all steps...2200 steps! It was exhausting but the view was breathtaking. There were lots of monks meandering around. I was dying to suck one off! Let me explain. Thailand is swarming with monks, usually dressed in these orange or mustard robes. Most men, sometime after high school, become a monk for a few months to a year, as a learning and spiritual experience. They are not...

Have you ever noticed how bad travel articles in magazines an newspapers are? They are all formatted around overpriced packages. Even here, if you pick up a free (advertiser funded) tourist guide or map, it is full of listings for things that are absurdly overpriced for what things cost here. This place is so gorgeous that there's not much more the pricey places can offer you. You don't need a pool with a crystal clear ocean in front of you! A simple, lovely, Gilliganesque bungalow is about...

I am sorry this post is a long and scattered but since it is fresh in my mind everything came out all at once. My tenses are screwey, and my spelling is a bit off, so patience please... Hey Mom, You would have loved it all! I am by no means a camper, and I dealt with it just fine. I was afraid it would be 200 homos huddled around a habachi (sp?) cooking an eggplant, but they have the system DOWN! Meals are regular 3 times a day. People are asked to participate any way they feel...

Remember too that last years may pole was forked into 2 points at the top....very eerie. It was so great to see someone experience Beltane for the first time. I know last year was just as magical for me. It truly is a recharge for me, creatively, spiritually and physically. I was told by someone last year that you get something different every year. I can see it now. This year was just as beautiful, strange, carefree, emotional, relaxing, exhausting, scary, stupid, and profound as last year...

a friend gave me Interview with a Vampire, and it sat on my shelf for over a year. one night i casually started reading it, and immediately wanted to know what happens. i have since read everything she has written, most recently Vittorio the Vampire. i believe there is a hard cover out now on Marius, Lestat's fabeled mentor. i too think The Whitching Hour was nothing short of epic. Rowan Mayfair is a fascinating character, but for me, and seemingly for Anne, Julian is the key to the mystery...

This is so disturbing, an od? I will miss her alot! Even though I didn't know her personally, she always inspired me. I remember the first time I saw her was at love machine in 1990. I thought she was so New York and she just stuck out in the crowd. I never thought this thread would end in such a sad note. I'm happy I bought the video she had with her performances on it. I will miss you terribly page!

Like is it worth trying to find at Kim's? and on the timeline, where was Marilyn Manson in his career when the clubkid phenom was going on? Was he a C-kidder?

Hey, thanx for the fyi on the pm video, too bad I hadn't checked back sooner to get over to ebay. I've been trying to remedy a keyboard problem on a laptop hand-me-down so my typing is limited with 4 keys not functioning one of which is 'a' which I have to keep in the copy buffer if I want to reply or e-mail. I think I'll have to try Kim's to satisfy my curiosity. thanx-2x rb//nyc//bronx

We met Walt on our second day of the shoot. He did this AMAZING pitch black "indian chief" look. He had a beautiful feather headdress that went halfway down his back. He painted up head to toe with black make-up (including his teeth) and had white and red warpaint bars. I'm positive that Ms. Manson would be doing something similar in her next video had he been there to witness it Hmmm... Manson does play into the whole bisexual/pansexual thing quite a bit... always alludes to getting high as...

Re: David Wojnarowicz - Artist
In such a short span David W. did more for breakthrough art and Aids politics than most of us could hope for in a lifetime. One of the few art shows I've ever attended and gone away intoxicated with the creativity of the work. There's not much more astounding then seeing work you may have dreamt of or intended to create and then brought to reality by a fanatic obsessed. My initial reaction was, damn he beat me to it and then realized, oh great, now I don't have to do it because much of it...

Daddy-D: I promise not to dreg up emotions too often. And someday, you and Chi Chi will have to let me write a bit about your early exploits. This is something I look forward to. You know, one of the first conversations I had with Rose, maybe about four years ago, was about whether or not I could come in to Mother early one night just to interview her. It was impressive to meet you as well Tonya, and your listing of DW's film work is very impressive. I wonder what ever became of the film we made together entitled, I think, "Brian Berlin". I was the main character and I OD'd in an alley at the end. David literally painted my face blue for the scene. But he really didn't have to. It was shot one freezing day in January on Charles Lane in the West Village. BTW that is my friend Chris Sharp and his boyfriend dancing in one of the Phil Zwickler...

No! A dancefloor is everybody's always!!! And I did love watching it--you two running off!! You couldn't pay people to look so jarred!! And the faux pas is mine. The theory was to make an interactive imprmptu video. The problem (well technically there were several glitches) but the biggest being -- the music is not yet appropriate for the dance floor, perhaps even to ears. If it was, people wouldn't have been so confused. But I got through it and had to laugh myself at the mockery I made.

No he's not an actor! HE JUST GOT LUCKY!!!!!! (and yes, I'm bitter). OK, he's a very talented graphic designer, art director, video artist, well OK, artist in general. I'll give him that. But basically he's just a big Ham! A few years ago at Jackie 60 we cast him as Kurt Cobain in a Jackie's Playhouse production. He surprised the world with his dancing ability and his basic hambone personality. OK, he brought down the house but that's neither here nor there. Until then nobody thought of Rob...

Fingers crossed all - CDs hopefully ready by Thurs/Fri if the live recording went well! Bettie Crow - You can still catch the magic! The exhibit is up until June 20th and there is now video of the show to watch on rotation at the gallery. My camera died during filming, so if anyone has some footage of the last five acts and, as it turns out, my own 2 mins. on stage, this is all I am missing in order to have the whole show documented.
