In no particular order... -- The old Ambassador Hotel. -- Sneaking into the decaying Union Pacific train yards downtown. -- Mulholland Drive in late November (from a 4-wheel drive vehicle, of course.) -- Aimee Semple MacPherson's temple in Echo Park. -- Hangin' out at Danny's Okee Dog on Santa Monica Blvd. -- The Malibu General Store and that Mexican orchid guy's wonderful greenhouses nearby. -- Griffith Park, especially its observatory. -- Chuck E. Weiss, Syd Straw, Ann Magnuson, and all...
