Big Bloc Party fans here.
We loved their first album, but "A Weekend In The City" has surpassed it in a lot of ways.
The first single "The Prayer" threw us off a bit, and it wasn't until we heard "Hunting for Witches" that we went out to get the full album. It's worth getting, one you can put in and listen all the way through.
People may shoot me down here, but they reminded us of The Beat/General Public on the first album, and this one continues to reinforce that for us.
We'd say this is a "must have" for 2007.
There is also a fantastic mix of "Helicopter" out now by Weird Science that features Peaches. It drives a dancefloor crazy!

I believe that the "Song For Clay" is about the narrator of Bret Easton Ellis' book Less Than Zero. I believe that the book became a movie as well.
