For longtime NYC nightclub folks, Claire O'Connor was the real thing, a publicist who was so much more than that, and a great supporter of friends and causes. Claire died WAY too young on Thursday night, of cancer. Her dear friend Michael Musto has several blog entries with details, commemorations and also funeral arrangements (wake Monday, funeral Tuesday) for those who would like to attend.

We in the Jackie Factory worked with Claire beginning at The Limelight in the early 80s, through the Jackie 60 and MOTHER eras, and as recently as the HOWL! Festival, where she also sat on the board. RIP, VIP and goddess-speed - you are already missed!
