I thought Cuomo's speech was pretty inspiring. "The legacy of this state is that we are the progressive capital of the nation." We've come back finally from the dark days of Guiliani and Pataki.

Oh Lily - I thought of you and the many marches we've been on for this cause that night, and several times since.. It was an amazing night and I was so glad to be here for it (we left the day after pride for vacation and just getting back now) - Still smiling!
Legislation for social progress. There has been so very little of it in over ten years this really is a startling turn. You just physically feel better.
