Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto

Award-winning writer and performer Anna Khaja depicts eight characters who illuminate the lives and historical forces surrounding slain Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto (1953-2007).

These people form the prism through which we view this enigmatic international figure in her final moments as she attempted to reunite a nation bitterly divided over the ideals of Islam and democracy.
